2012 - 2018 Toyota Rav4 Oil Change with MotivX Filter Tools!

As always, check your owners manual for all the specifics for your vehicle. This was performed on a 2018 Rav4 with 4 cylinder 2.5 liter engine. The torque specs are as follows:
Drain Plug: 30 ft lbs
Filter Housing: 18 ft lbs
Filter Drain: 9 ft lbs
This guide should be essentially the same for model years starting from 2009 onward for the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder Toyota RAV4.
The tools you will need are as follows:
-Ratchet with 3/8 inch drive
-14mm socket
-Genuine Toyota Oil Filter, Part number 04152-YZZA1
-Replacement Crush Washer
-Rags
-Oil drain pan
-Filter housing removal tool
-6 quarts of 0W-20 Full Synthetic Oil (Check your owners manual to confirm exact amount of oil needed)
-Funnel
Ramps or a jack to lift the car
-Mini pick
