Swap Daisy to Tanuki, to tank the guy in Chapter 3 - technically doesn't need to be Tanuki, just anything so you don't have the 1-hit death effect from Daisy. I use Tanuki cuz it's close, and it takes sanity damage instead of physical damage, meaning you won't get in the red no matter how much he hits you.
Swap back immediately after.
Swap Elephant to Beetle to do enough damage to one-cycle Sakuko.
Swap Daisy for Elephant in Chapter 5 somewhere after the last main straightaway you use it. I do it around the house area, just in case you get randomly hit there.
Swap Beetle to Wolf after Rinko boss to do more damage to the normal enemies we kill from here on out.
