The Chinese Communist Party has heavily censored, manipulated and tried to erase memories relating to the Tiananmen Square protests and massacre in 1989. Artwork and relics in a London exhibition, recall those events as well as the subsequent Hong Kong pro-democracy movement. The exhibition, called 'Censored memories' opened to the public at St John’s Church in London.
