Finding time to vote can be a challenge. In fact, the most common reason for not voting is that we are too busy. What if voting was as easy and convenient as grabbing lunch? Phil McGrane believes it can be. As an election official, he has taken voting mobile and introduced #FoodTruckVoting as a way to take voting to where voters are, not just to where voters live.
Phil began working in elections in 2005, training poll workers and finding polling places. He currently serves as the Chief Deputy Clerk for Ada County, overseeing all elections in the county. He holds a bachelors degree in philosophy from the University of Washington, a Masters in Public Administration from Boise State, and a law degree from the University of Denver.
