SLJ-2 means SOUNDS LIKE JORGE #2. A mixtape with rare and carefully selected versions of Jorge Ben Jor songs found through years of going through markets, record stores, random leads and the everchanging internet. Enjoy!
This session was recorded at Thomas Dambo's workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was during lockdown and we were granted access to the workshop of wooden troll master / sustainable Danish artists Thomas Dambo. Make sure to check him out please @thomasdambo - him and his team has built and placed over 100 giant trolls in natural and stunning locations worldwide.

Batukizer is Carla from Rio de Janeiro and Rasmus from Copenhagen.
We spend loads of time of time digging, researching records and playing DJ sets with amazing and little-known music. We were formerly called Epic Vinyls From Brazil.

We live in Copenhagen and have tour festivals and venues worldwide.

SLJ-1. SOUND LIKE JORGE #1
SLJ-1 is a 100 % vinyl mix by EVFB created in January 2016 before flying to Rio to DJ at two Jorge Ben shows at legendary venue Circo Voador. It showcases the strong Brazilian tradition of making incredible cover versions of original songs. SLJ-1 is just one of many themed mixtape that we've done and is one of the most popular on Soundcloud.
