上海黑石公寓 The Earliest Luxury Apartment in China

1924年，美國人在上海蓋了當時最豪華的酒店公寓——黑石公寓，位於如今的復興中路，大樓共6層，套房31間，恆溫泳池、舞廳、網球場均可免費使用，還配備私人管家服務，曾被民國總理當婚房，吸引了各界人士。今年9月，我們拜訪了公寓住戶——丹麥設計師馬書文，通過他的視角，再次重溫這棟曾輝煌一時的老建築。

In 1924, an American built the Blackstone Apartments, the most luxurious hotel apartment in Shanghai. Now located in Fuxingzhong Road, the building has 6 storeys and 31 units with free access to winter swimming pool, dance hall, tennis courts and private housekeeper service. The first premier of the Republic of China (1921-1949) ordered an unit here as his wedding room. The apartments attracted people from all walks of life. This September, we interviewed Soren Matz, a Danish designer and a tenant of the current Blackstone Apartments, and visited the old building that once flourished.
