I received this kit as a Christmas gift from my brother. It took about few weeks to assemble because I procrastinated a bit. LOL! Some parts of the kit were a bit more frustrating to put together like the tree and gazebo area. The instructions weren't always clear so I improved at times. I also added some items from other kits and rearranged furnitures to my liking. I'd say this kit wouldn't be ideal for a first timer. There's a lot of little pieces and patience required. The finished model is beautiful though and worth all the effort.
