गोली गढ़ मेला आमतौर पर होली से पहले सप्ताहांत पर मनाया जाता है। मेला शनिवार रात को शुरू होता है और रविवार शाम को समाप्त होता है। यह मेला गुजरात के सूरत जिले के वांसकुई तालुका के महुवा गांव में ऐतिहासिक गोलीगढ़ बापा मंदिर के पास आयोजित किया जाता है। यह मेला दो भाइयों के सम्मान में मनाया जाता है, जो अपनी दवाओं से खतरनाक बीमारियों को ठीक करने के लिए जाने जाते थे। उनकी समाधियाँ इस मंदिर में स्थित हैं। दोनों भाई वांस्कुई गांव में रहते थे, जहां से वे लोगों का इलाज करते थे, वहीं पर मंदिर बना हुआ है। वर्षों बाद, एक भाई की मृत्यु होली से ठीक पहले रविवार को हो गई और एक वर्ष बाद दूसरे भाई की भी होली से एक दिन पहले रविवार को मृत्यु हो गई। उनकी मृत्यु के बाद ग्रामीणों ने पइया बनाकर पूजा-अर्चना शुरू कर दी। कण्ठमाला, खसरा, चिकन पॉक्स जैसी बीमारियों से पीड़ित कोई भी व्यक्ति यहां 'बधा' लेता था और जैसे ही उनका स्वास्थ्य बेहतर हो जाता था, लोग फिर से यहां प्रार्थना करने और अपना प्रसाद देने आते थे। मेले में पूरे दक्षिण गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र और राजस्थान से बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु अपना "बाधा" पूरा करने के लिए यहां आते हैं। गोलीगढ़ बापा का मंदिर दक्षिण गुजरात में प्रसिद्ध है, मेले के दौरान इस मंदिर में बड़ी संख्या में लोग आते हैं। मान्यता है कि इस मंदिर में दर्शन करने से किसी भी प्रकार की बीमारी ठीक हो जाती है। यहां दो मंदिर हैं, एक नया और एक पुराना, जिसमें अच्छी तरह से व्यवस्थित सीसीटीवी कैमरा, पुलिस सुरक्षा और पार्किंग की सुविधाएं हैं। Goligadh bapu mela 2024 | goligadh bapa(new temple) vanskui gujarat| Ajendra Vlogs

मंदिरों के अलावा यहां विभिन्न प्रकार की आनंद सवारी और स्वादिष्ट भोजन स्टॉल, खिलौने, हस्तशिल्प, हथकरघा के स्टॉल भी हैं।

Goli Gadh fair is usually celebrated on a weekend before holi. The Fair commences on Saturday night and ends on Sunday evening. The Fair is organized near the historic Goligadh Bapa Temple in Mahuva Village, Vanskui taluka in Surat district of Gujarat. The fair is celebrated to honor two brothers, who were known to heal dangerous diseases with their medicines. Their samadhis(shrine) are placed in this temple. Both of the brothers lived in Vanskui village, The same place from where they used to treat people is where the temple is built. Years later, one of the brothers died on Sunday just before Holi and a year later the second brother also died on Sunday a day before Holi. After their death, the villagers made Paiya and started worshiping. Anyone with diseases like mumps, measles, chicken pox used to take ‘badha’ here and as soon as their health got better, people used to come here again to pray and deliver their offerings. A large number of devotees from all over South Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan flock here to fulfill their “badha” in the fair. The Goligadh Bapa's temple is famous in South Gujarat, a huge number of people visit this temple during the fair. It is believed that any kind of ailment is recovered after visiting this temple. There are two temples, a new one and an old one, with well maintained CCTV camera, police security, and facilities for parking. Other than temples there are different types of joy rides and delicious food stalls, toys, handicraft, handloom.
