ISRAEL: YIGAL AMIR UPDATE

Yigal Amir, the man who assassinated the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, has said he does not regret shooting Rabin following a peace rally in Tel Aviv five years ago.

Amir made the remarks during an appearance at the district court in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba.

He also demand the removal of closed-circuit video cameras from his prison cell.

"A person who knew the results of a peace process (Rabin), and knowingly gave away the lives of his Jewish brothers to these gangs (the Palestinians), its really unheard of.
Q: Today, will you do it again?
A: Today? Yes, off course. "

" If there will be a Palestinian State, it will be a catastrophe. They (the Israelis) will abandoned all the settlements, they already started that. The think that if they will be nice (to the Palestinians) it will rescue them. But the settlers don't understand that if they will continue with this stupid silence, they will be thrown to the dogs."
