Okayyy this one came in hot!! DIR EN GREY kicked off this set with what felt like a straight-up underground rave…flashing lights, pulsing beat, total chaos…and then BAM… it exploded into that heavy, unrelenting power they’re known for.
We were not ready for how hard this went! That transition from the electronic intro into the sheer brutality of the band’s full force was so freaking cool. Kyo’s vocals were absolutely unhinged…in the best way. And the band behind him? Locked in and savage.
