A message from the movies

I made the original version of this for a seminar I was doing on Christ in the movies. It used Prince's 'The Cross' as its soundtrack but YouTube wouldn't allow the track. So I reworked it with a few new clips and used the Coldplay track instead. It still times with the Prince track if you wanted to try it yourself.
Obviously a lot of the clips are coincidental and unintentional cruciforms, but many are quite deliberately added by the directors because they know the iconography of the cross connects in the human psyche, whether or not we believe that the underlying mythology reflects a historic truth.
All movies are credited in the video and the soundtrack is A Message by Coldplay from X&Y
