Here's my quick story:

I made $300K in college by figuring out one thing. How to hijack attention on the internet. And that skill changed my life. Here's what happened next...

2011: I stumble into the world of YouTube influencers and start brokering brand deals for them. I'm making good money. Time to upgrade.

2014: I launch Influicity, a software / marketplace connecting brands with influencers. I raise $1M from investors. This is gonna be huge. (hint, it's not)

2016: After 2 years of grinding, this thing is failing. No one wants my stupid software. Time for a pivot.

2017: I ditch the software and transform Influicity into an influencer marketing agency. We run influencer campaigns from A-Z. White glove service.

2018: It's working! We're winning clients like Toyota and Disney. One problem. My investors don't want to be involved with an agency. They want their cash back. (Oh sh*t).

2019: I scrape together every dollar I have and start buying out my investors. Then I hit the gas to grow Influicity.

2020: Influicity grows fast. We start offering more services. Social media, podcasts, content, and more.

2021: I start my podcast **Making It with Jon Davids**. I have exactly zero listeners.2022: I begin posting content daily on LinkedIn. No one's reading it.

2023: Things are starting to work. The podcast is growing. And I hit 25K LinkedIn followers.

2024: I publish my first book, Marketing Superpowers. My social audience hits 200,000.

2025: Influicity is doing great. That little podcast hits #1 on the Marketing podcast charts. My social following hits 500,000. And I've still got big plans.
