Kim Jong Un embarrassed after North Korea's new warship botches launch

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was left embarrassed recently after the launch of a new warship ended in disaster.

The new 5,000-tonne naval destroyer was launched at the northeastern port of Chongjin and was intended to showcase the country’s military advancement.

The launch, however, left the North Korean leader fuming after the ship slid off a ramp and got stuck, according to state media.

The total extent of the damage facing the ship is unknown, it is also unknown whether anyone was injured.

Local state media reported that Kim Jong Un slammed the “carelessness” of the launch, saying it will “not be tolerated”.
