The deserts of Southern Nevada and California were the inspiration behind these three compositions.
"An all-night drive through the Mojave Desert: Just as your eyelids are becoming heavy, a sliver of sunlight, the new day, is seen on the horizon. The vibraphone parts imitate the fingerpicking technique of an acoustic guitar."
