A 75 yr old foreigner finds love again with a Filipino woman in this feature interview, proving that good love arrives just at the right time.

Ingram, originally from Guyana and a long-time resident of the United States, embarked on a journey of dating beyond borders in the Philippines where Asian women are open to significant age differences.
Ingram's path to finding love led him to a Filipino matchmaker after he stumbled upon a YouTube interview featuring an expats living in Dumaguete, Philippines.


Intrigued, he explored the site and encountered the profile of Marilyn, a 44-year-old Filipina living in Cebu City. Marilyn actively seeks a husband, particularly a foreign man, drawn to their perceived kindness and love.
Ingram found himself repeatedly drawn back to Marilyn's dating profile, a clear sign to him that he had found something special.

Despite his reservations about the "speed dating" style of dating events, he focused his attention on Marilyn. To connect with her, he navigated the process of obtaining an IMBRA form, a necessary step for releasing her contact information.

Marilyn, received Ingram's initial message on December 23rd. She signed the IMBRA form which allowed them to communicate more directly. Their connection deepened through frequent video calls, fostering a sense of happiness and anticipation. Marilyn was particularly moved by Ingram's expressed intention to marry her.

Ingram was looking for a loyal, sincere, trustworthy Filipina bride, and he felt he found these qualities in Marilyn. Having been married multiple times previously, he was ready to commit once more. His future plans were clear: to marry Marilyn as soon as possible and bring her to the United States.

Marilyn, aspires to pursue culinary arts, would attend school in North Carolina, where Ingram resides. After gaining experience, they planned to return to the Philippines, where Marilyn intended to start her own business with Ingram's full support.

Ingram expressed immense satisfaction with the matchmaking staff, highlighting their helpfulness. He found a remarkable coincidence when he saw Marilyn in a YouTube video shortly after they began communicating, reinforcing his belief that their meeting was meant to be.

Marilyn echoes his sentiments, expressing gratitude to God and the Filipina matchmakers for answering her prayers and helping her find a good man. She encourages other women to use the site to find their own partners.

Ingram advises foreign men to consider dating in the Philippines to meet Filipinas in person. He shared his positive experiences with Filipino hospitality, from the airline staff to the immigration officers, and emphasized the importance of taking the leap to find love.
