The golden rule of self defence is stay on your feet, if you go to the ground.
GET UP FAST.
Easy if your young and athletic, not so easy if you're wobbly on your knees. So what are your alternatives, if you need to get back to your feet?
We'll look at a few different options and maybe you'll find one way to stand up from the floor that works well for your krav maga, self defence or martial arts training.
In our Preston martial arts centre, we've a matted floor. But you 'really find out what works and what does not, when you train on a harder surface.
