I wrote this lament with the hopes to express a depth of sadness that is both heart-wrenching and beautiful, for in the midst of sorrow sometimes there is profound grace and beauty.
I composed the piece with my cello and produced it with Ableton live, at times layering my cello recordings to sound like an orchestra alongside the midi strings. Hope you enjoy! :)
