Under the pseudonym No Hotel, former Table Top Poets frontman, Jerry Wade, engenders classic sounding songs. Teeming with elements of sixties folk rock, garage psych and classic rock with a conscience, these songs hit as both new and familiar feeling, rock n roll tunes.
Influenced by the likes of The Beatles, Tom Petty and that eternal California sound, Wade collaborated on this No Hotel debut with veteran Los Angeles based producer and session player, Jason Abraham Roberts. The result brings Wade’s earnest lyrics and catchy songs to life amidst jangly guitars, retro synths, walls of fuzz and vintage analog tones. Produced by Roberts, these songs travel through his carefully curated sonic ocean-scape and into a vintage Tascam 8 track tape machine, further contributing to their classic warm analog sound.
The tracks were mastered in London at the world famous Abbey Road Studios by Grammy winning mastering engineer, Sean Magee (The Beatles, John Lennon, The Ramones, Rush, The Sex Pistols).
