Is this one of my new favorite movies, like, EVER?! NIMONA IS THE QUEER AND METAL BEAUTY MY SOUL WAS SCREAMING FOR! Welcome to my movie reaction/commentary/first time watching of NIMONA (2023), and this time we watch a tremendously enjoyable and sophisticated film taking place in a futuristic medieval kingdom with a dark and twisted history, and shape-shifter Nimona (Chloe Grace Moretz, who NAILED IT), Ballister (Riz Ahmed) and Ambrosius (Eugene Lee Yang) are entangled in a beautifully written and directed story that took me in a journey of visceral emotions and made my heart really vulnerable. ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES OF THE YEAR!
