And so begins day 2 of the SOAD album tracking weekend. I'm actually pretty stoked on this performance! I'm particularly proud of the section at 3:36-3:52 because I've never actually learned it before and I finally managed to pick it up. I did the first take and it was bollocks, so I spent a few minutes just looping and practicing that part before tracking take 2 (that's why I flash 2 at the beginning). Turned out pretty neat! Oh, and I also realized I had to fix the lighting/angle situation, so the songs from here on look marginally better :D

Audio was recorded in our rehearsal space direct into a Behringer X32 digital mixer and into ProTools and monitored

through a headphone pre-amp with Beyerdynamic DT100 headphones. No editing. Mixed in ProTools. The following

mics were used:
Apex325 on kick
Apex326 on all tom batters & snare top
Shure Beta 57A on snare bottom
Apex180 pencil condensers for overheads
