A number of people have told me 'it is not if your ABS fails, it is when', on the 2002-2007 models. Experienced it with Jason's 2005 1200GS and now I am here at the same situation. To be truthful I am not too upset that it has gone now when I can do something about it. Imagine I was just crossing the border into Spain! You get residual braking if the Servo/ABS fails but it can take double the stopping distance, not a good place to be as you come down the mountain hairpins from Rhonda!
