I’ve the years I have tried all kinds of incubation medium for my snake eggs , for the most part it comes down to simply maintaining the correct humidity
Without the eggs getting wet . I’ve used hatchrite, coir husk, moss, vermiculite but to be honest I just use perlite now fir everything and adjust the moisture content to suit the species …and so far it has worked for various species
