Engine 2 Dedication Ceremony

Earlier today, the City of North Myrtle Beach held a Dedication Ceremony at Fire Station 2, located in Cherry Grove, to officially place Engine 2 into service.

The ceremony featured a blessing of the new engine by Father Wil Keith, Chaplain for Midway Fire Rescue in Georgetown County, followed by a traditional push-in—honoring a longstanding fire service tradition. Members of City Council, City Manager Ryan Fabbri, Fire Chief Billy Floyd, Deputy Chief John Galganski, Division Chief Michael Huber, and members of North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue were in attendance to celebrate the occasion.

Engine 2 represents a continued investment in public safety and a commitment to equipping our First Responders with the tools they need to serve the community effectively and safely.
