The Qinling Mountains, located 30 kilometers south of the ancient city of Xi'an, represent the essence of the central Qinling Mountains. Stretching across peaks and crisscrossing lush valleys, the area boasts a forest coverage rate exceeding 90%, home to rare species such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, and takins. Known as the "Green Core of China," the area is surrounded by renowned peaks such as Guifeng Mountain, Nanwutai Mountain, and Cuihua Mountain. Seventy-two valleys, including Fengyu and Laoyu, have long connected the north and south, nurturing the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties. Today, the Qinling Mountains in Xi'an have been transformed into an ecological belt encompassing national parks, nature reserves, and greenways. It serves as both the city's "back garden" and the "central water tower" of Guanzhong, continuously nourishing the ancient capital.
