Meet Zhyla Sharkey, a dedicated dancer who has been with Raw Talent Performing Arts for 3.5 years.
In that time, Zhyla has grown not only as a dancer but as a leader and mentor to her younger dance sisters. Her story reflects the heart of our mission — building confidence, character, and community through the arts.
Raw Talent has served over 5,000 youth in 11 years, and every school year we support between 150–500 students across Chicago through dance, arts education, mentoring, and emotional wellness programming.
