We hopped back into the old ferry launch in Robson again to check the visibility in the Columbia River. It was around 15 to 20 feet so it's getting better with the cold weather but still not worth launching our boat here yet.
It was a great dive with my bestest dive buddy! Got some good shots of a few smaller sturgeon in a busy little corridor around the middle of the river out from Robson. We saw well over 20 fish but they didn't like our bubbles! We found a small structure to hide behind and managed to get some shots of a few swimming right by us!
The current has picked up here and it's no joke! We had to hug the bottom and use pop bottles as ski poles to make head way into the flow! R3 did great and we both loved this dive! It's becoming our favorite this year!
