A Trip to the World Famous Horseshoe Curve

In July, 2025, we made a trip to Pennsylvania and the NS Pittsburgh Line. Of course, we had to check out the World Famous Horseshoe Curve just outside of Altoona!
During our visit to the curve, we found out that Virtual Railfan's live webcam was turned facing away from the tracks, and we'd soon find out it was because the Altoona Railroader's Museum, which operates the curve, was doing maintenance, meaning nobody watching the camera live could see the trains.
It turned out to be a good day at the curve as well. There weren't many meets, but there were a couple heritage units, and the trains were plentiful with short waits in between.
