CHEAP FIX for Check Engine Light P0401 for EGR on 97' Civic (ek) HX

Had a check engine light come on the other day! Pulled the code for P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) insufficient flow on the Civic. Pulled the EGR off the motor and cleaned the carbon and build up with carborator cleaner. Cleared the code with Torqe PRO for Android and a cheap ($15 or less for most vehicles) Bluetooth OBDII scanner from Amazon. Now the old Civic is running free of any codes or check engine lights!
