Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Morrison, Colorado, USA
Date: October 4, 2025
Tour: N/A
At the beginning of this year, Oliver finally showed signs of life after a long period of silence. Following a DJ tour across North America, he briefly returned to social media, sharing a few short clips teasing music from his upcoming album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly. These snippets reignited excitement among fans, who had been waiting patiently for new material. However, shortly after that brief reappearance, Oliver once again went quiet, disappearing from all platforms for several months.
It wasn’t until the summer that he resurfaced with a major announcement: he would be performing once again at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, this time alongside Logic. But what made this show particularly special was Oliver's promise to perform his entire Ugly Is Beautiful album live — a long-awaited moment for fans who had never seen a full performance of the record.
Amir Oosman and Casey Mattson would rejoin the band after a long time. The last time the three of them were together was on the Cowboy Tears tour. Oliver would present a solid setlist, returning to songs that hadn't been played in years, such as "Introspective," "Joke's on You!", "Bury Me Alive," "Waste My Time," "Movement," and "I'm Gone" (with a reprise of "Alien Boy"). On the other hand, several songs would be played for the first time, such as "Jerk" (although it's a very short version), "Again & Again" (the demo was played at SCMF 2018, but it doesn't count), and "Me, Myself & I." In the final minutes of the show, Oliver would introduce "Superhero," a new song from the upcoming album.
This performance stood out as one of Oliver’s strongest in recent memory. Compared to past shows where his voice had occasionally faltered, this time he sounded more confident, controlled, and vocally on point. He was visibly more energetic throughout the set, frequently engaging with the audience between songs. That said, the crowd’s energy was noticeably muted, likely because many attendees were primarily there to see Logic. Despite this, Oliver made repeated efforts to involve the audience, encouraging them to cheer louder and sing along.
