DIY Flower Prep and Care 101- Long, Extended Version with Unboxing

Proper DIY Flower Care and Prep is often the most common thing new florists and DIY'ers skip. Although this is a long (i.e. boring) video, it's crucial to follow all the steps to have optimal results.

Here are the basic rules:
Unbox your flowers and count everything.
Look through all paper wrappings.
Leave all outer wrappings on, cut stems, and place in fresh water for 1 hour BEFORE removing wrappings. This prevents sad drooping.
After 1 hour, remove all wrapping. Place all flowers in size-appropriate containers and give delicates their own special vase.
Don't be afraid if your blooms are not looking awesome upon unpacking. They are still closed and need a day to open and hydrate.

Always email us with pictures ASAP if you feel a flower is looking compromised, as we will happily send more or refund if a bunch of flowers is deemed unusable.
