Researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed a solar-powered device that captures carbon dioxide (CO₂) directly from the air and converts it into syngas—a fuel blend of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The device absorbs CO₂ at night and, during the day, uses only sunlight to trigger chemical reactions without needing any electricity.
