Large oak tree was dying from disease so the land owners decided to have it removed. The notch of the cut is made on the far side and then a plunge cut is being used on the back end. You can see that the arborist can make a plunge cut leaving only a small tab on the back of the tree. When he does go to finalize the cut it gives him a large amount of time to remove himself from the dangerous area.
