Key to Alpha Manufacturing's success is our commitment to new product development. Dedicated staff work closely with our customers to ensure that new developments utilise the very best in machine and tooling technology. Designs are optimised for efficient manufacture on our industry leading sheet metal work machines.

The metal prototyping service 'Alpha XP' enables one off metal prototypes in sheet metal, stainless steel or a non-ferrous metal, utilising as many of the metal production processes as required within Alpha's sheet metal services. Metal prototypes can be laser cut, punched, folded, turned, welded and powder coated.
Alpha's extremely versatile and efficient laser cutting machines can work in a range of material types and thickness' from mild steel to wood and plastic. The laser cutting machines have a table size of 4000mm x 2000mm. The laser cutters are equipped with automated loading tables ensuring machine utilisation is maximised. Parts and scrap materials are removed from the laser cutter automatically.

Alpha Manufacturing's CNC punching facilities comprise of three Pullmax machines and one Trumph machine, each offering unrivalled process speeds.

With facilities for "lights out" production, our Punching machines load materials and tools automatically. Finished parts can be picked and stacked automatically ready for the next operation.

Alpha Manufacturing has a range of forming facilities, each of them designed to suit differing product types.

Alpha Manufacturing's recent investment in the Mazak Nexus 250 MSY and the Quick Turn Smart 200M offers customers a new dimension of manufacturing solutions in turned parts.

The Machining Centres allow Alpha to produce turned parts for existing and new customers. In addition Alpha are able to design and manufacture in house tooling to enable quick turnaround for all customer requirements.

Lathe machine - Mazak Nexus 250 MSY offers Y-axis milling capabilities, with a 80mm diameter bar capacity on autofeed and up to 250mm when hand-fed. The lathe also has a secondary spindle enabling finishing on the side and back of parts.

Alpha's robot welder boasts high-end features such as Cold Metal Transfer technology to eradicate spatter and reduce burn through and distortion. The Robot also comes equipped with Seam Finding technology to ensure the robot always welds true to joining parts. With interchanging fixture manipulators we can ensure fast paced production, ensuring jigging time is within weld cycle using state of the art pneumatic clamping fixtures.

lpha Manufacturing's in-house powder coating equipment ensures tight control on both efficiency and delivery, and guarantees that quality remains our highest priority.

Our plant is fully automated and employs industry leading pre-treatment process OXSILAN®.

OXSILAN® is a new metal pre-treatment technology that is free from hazardous metals and provides superior corrosion resistance for a wide range of metal substrates.
