Hangar 9 CubCrafters XCub 60cc delivered!
Running the Saito FG-61TS 4-stroke twin, this bird sounded absolutely buttery smooth in the air. Everything was going great until… the left flap control rod popped loose mid-flight! 😳
Even with one flap out of commission, the XCub handled it like a champ — proving why this is one of the best-flying giant-scale Cubs out there. Smooth power, great stability, and that classic twin-cylinder sound.
Filmed at the beautiful Skyblazers R/C Club in Crump, Tennessee, this maiden had a little drama, a lot of smiles, and one very relieved pilot at the end! 😅
