Thanks to laser welding's minimal heat input, Mike can work without preheating, maintaining material integrity and protecting nearby sensitive areas like timestamps. He finishes the repair by hand-benching the weld using a stone, ensuring a seamless and polished result ready for re-engraving. This efficient, non-invasive approach offers a practical solution for detailed mold repairs, especially in production environments.
