ABOUT THE L.O.C. METHOD:
The L.O.C. method is a popular layering technique in the natural hair community, that for many, is a guide of what types of products to use to retain moisture, one of the more challenging parts of figuring out your natural hair.
The idea is that by layering oil, then a heavier, sealing cream after your leave-in conditioner, you will get more days of moisturized hair, which should prevent you from re-wetting and setting daily. The trick to this actually working is you have to use products that have both penetrating, or low molecular weight ingredients, and sealing ingredients that stay attached to the hair to trap the penetrating ingredients.
