Wild deer on our porch meditation - ASMR

Rosie is the deer we rescued from a deep hole when she was a fawn. She never forgot that, and nearly every day (for years) after that she would spend a lot of time hanging out in our yard. Her favorite place was on our porch. Rosie passed away a few months ago, but I started this video last year, and left the subtitles in the present tense.

Rosie was a character. See our video Rosie Patrols the Yard (link below) to see her obsession with keeping raccoons out of the yard. After her "hole" trauma when she was a fawn, she also had an encounter with a coyote that left a pretty bad wound, that nevertheless healed pretty quickly. In any case, she was always a bit skittish, so it's even more remarkable that I was able to sit down next to her in this video. Most of the time, we would open the porch door and she would immediately get up - perhaps not sure of who was coming out. There have been only a few deer over many years who have let us "groom" them. It was surprising that skittish Rosie would be one.

I sub-titled this video "ASMR" as the repetitive stroking and quiet atmosphere is ideal for eliciting "autonomous sensory meridian response."
