ಸರಕಾರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಶಾಂತ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಾಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಬುಧವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ‌ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 43 ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ 2,75, 386 ಹುದ್ದೆ ಖಾಲಿವೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ವಯೋಮಿತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇವು.ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಗೆ ನಿರಾಕರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sangh (ABVS) State President Kantkumar stated that the government is acting irresponsibly towards students and strongly condemned the denial of permission for a peaceful protest.

Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Wednesday, he said the government should have responded to their demands on the floor of the House. He pointed out that there are 2,75,386 vacant posts across 43 departments in the state. He added that they had submitted applications seeking permission to increase the age limit after holding legal discussions. Despite their struggle being constitutional and peaceful, permission for the protest was denied, he alleged.
