In November 2025, my mate James and I travelled to the Dolomites to explore remote mountain bivaccos.
After flying into Venice, we drove straight into the mountains, carrying everything we needed on our backs — food, sleeping bags, crampons, snowshoes and camera gear.
This video follows our journey to Bivacco Al Cadon del Monte Col: steep trails, heavy packs, cold mornings and incredible time spent high in the mountains.
No crowds. No rush. Just movement, decision-making and learning when to push on — and when to turn back.
