FEEL LIKE MAKIN' LOVE (DEMO)

It was originally slated for the HANDS TO THE PLOW (ALBUM). However, it was never completed. Instead, it would be replaced by BLUE MOON. At that time MISSISSIPPI QUEEN had already been recorded for the album. Having 1 "Cover Tune" is not unusual for an artist. 2, maybe? But 3, was out of the question. Ultimately Robbie's wife "Linette" would make the decision (Yes she's girl in the song). Robbie was laying down vocals for BLUE MOON when he abruptly stopped and questioned his producer (P.T. Houston) if this wasn't a waste of time and money when FEEL LIKE MAKIN' LOVE was almost in the can (completed). Houston was in the control room leaning way back in his chair with his feet up on the edge of the mixing console conversing with Bray from the sound booth. She, (Linette) overhearing their conversation and not knowing the mic was still hot, walked into the sound booth and whispered in her husband's ear. When all at once everyone in the control room looked up toward the sound booth as PT fell backwards off his chair onto the floor. He immediately sprang to his feet enthusiastically stating "Blue Moon it is!" We have yet to discover just exactly what Mrs. Bray whispered in her husband's ear.
