Here's the second opus of my Aurora timelapse: relaxation film in which I compiled 2 years (covid period) worth of aurora timelapse. In numbers, it represents from 50 to 60K pictures, countless hours post-processing, so much time and resources spent in the field braving the conditions to get these. Since these relaxation videos seem to be more and more popular, why not compile all of those into one big video only for you?
All was shot with the Sony a7s, a7rII and the Canon 6D astromodified and a variety of bright lenses ranging from 14mm to 500mm. For motion control I used the Syrp 3-axis Genie I system and also the Vixen Polarie. All post production was made in Lr with the special timelapse plus plugin, Sequence for mac, TLDF, and final production was made in FCPX.
