Hoarder alex is one of the funniest npcs we meet during the game, and he has a few secrets. Let me explain.

So hoarder alex is voiced by youtuber the pruld and blocks the bridge. While first talking to him you can revive him, but if you don’t and instead sit for 7 minutes he dies and you get an achievement. When he gets exploded by the laser and examine his corpse it says he’s in an interruptible sleep and not to bother him which is just a funny way of saying he’s dead. We find his body again a little later.

He resembles a rat and has a black censor bar over his eyes, like he’s a cancelled youtuber in a thumbnail.

If we remove this bar, he actually has a pair of eyes hidden behind them. In the game’s files he also has a set of other eyes, most of which being very beautiful, perhaps hinting that he’ll return in the future.
