This Security Circuit Can’t Be Fooled by Light! Intruder Detection Circuit make at home
This circuit works on an IR transmitter and IR receiver principle. When the infrared beam is interrupted by any object or person, the circuit instantly detects the intrusion and turns ON an LED, buzzer, or relay.
🔧 Components Used
LM324 IC
Infrared Transmitter Diode (from remote control)
Infrared Receiver Diode
50k Variable Resistor
2M Variable Resistor
470Ω Resistor (1/4W)
12V DC Battery / Power Supply
⚙️ How It Works
The IR transmitter continuously sends an infrared beam.
The IR receiver detects the beam.
When someone crosses the beam, the signal changes.
LM324 IC compares the signal and activates the output.
You can use LED, buzzer, relay, or alarm as output.
This circuit is not affected by torch light or room light, making it very reliable.
I have tested this circuit up to 10 meters, and it works perfectly.
