Took the Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph 27mm T2.8 and 50mm T2.4 lenses with the Silver Flares to the pier in Pompano Beach, Florida to try them out during the sunrise on April 1st 2023. This is the RF mount version of the lenses, used with the Canon C70 in DCI 4K 23.98 fps 10 bit Long GOP Clog2 with the LUT from the Canon website applied (CinemaGamut_CanonLog2-to-BT709_WideDR_17_FF).
It is unfortunate that all the clouds from the Gulf Stream off of Florida's east coast tend to block a lot of sunrises, and it creates a hazy, diffused blob of golden light, but that aside, I'm pretty happy with the results of these lenses.
