Just added a new mod to my Inspired by Gibson, Epiphone ES‑335 Figured Semi‑Hollowbody Electric Guitar (2023).
I added a @guyker GM85 Chrome with Blue Tremolo Tailpiece (Duesenberg style Trem) with the Guyker GM‑005 Roller Saddles Tune‑O‑Matic Bridge.
I could not find reviews or videos for this specific trem on YouTube and wanted to comment about it for those looking for an alternative system that is well thought out.
If I had any complaints, it would be to ask Guyker to add in additional felt pads for the middle of the trem (triangular point). Aside from that, nothing to complain.
The Tremolo is nice and smooth with the right amount of resistance and the finish is outstanding! I highly recommend if you are looking for a similar system for your ES‑335 (or even Les Paul and SG models). This trem is the LP/SG model, but fits perfectly with my ES-335 with no modifications needed. Just research your specifications for your specific guitar to ensure compatibility and compliance.
I’ll do a playing test on it another time as I’m still stretching out the strings so they retain intonation.
