PROS:
🌳the addition of new magical creatures and/or things. LOVES it.
🌳I ship Sara and Thomas SO HARD.
🌳The characters were richer and their relationships so authentic.
🌳The magic training was fun.
🌳We learn more about the magic in the world.

CONS:
🐲Sara is so full of doubt in herself. Get it together girl.
🐲Needed more tree information.


I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. I read book 1 and it was great, but there were a few characters and things that I did not like. But this one is fabulous.

It takes place right after book one but the characters have grown so much. The relationships are richer, more authentic and so much deeper. I can feel the bonds and connections between them when I read. I think the fact that we know the characters and they know each other more this time made the story more fun since the adventure could go faster.

I love the addition of dragons, and other magical creatures. I will say no more on that. The story was full of adventure and the pacing was spot on for a story structure, since I could call what part we were at when something big happened.

The not as fun. There were a few things at the beginning that I wasn’t thrilled about, when they go off on a camping trip, and our MC Sara and her guy are keeping things from each other, which I don’t want them to do, but that is normal in a new relationship to a point, but I expect more of them because I love them as a couple.

The new characters are awesome. The old characters are a blast. I can’t wait for book 3 to see where it goes.
