🌟 One Day in Amritsar: A Journey Through History, Spirituality & Flavor
Our day in Amritsar began with a classic Punjabi breakfast that set the tone for an unforgettable journey. We indulged in Paneer Kulcha with Chole and Aloo Kulcha with Chole, paired with chilled coldrinks—an explosion of flavor that energized us for the day ahead.

🕊️ Jallianwala Bagh: A Walk Through History
Our first destination was the solemn Jallianwala Bagh, where we explored the museum and memorials that commemorate the tragic 1919 massacre. The bullet-marked walls and Martyrs’ Well offered a powerful reminder of India’s struggle for freedom.

🛕 Golden Temple & Lassi Delight
Just outside the Golden Temple, we treated ourselves to a plain lassi—creamy, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. After soaking in the spiritual vibes, we returned to our hotel for a short rest.

🚗 City Drive & Ram Tirth Temple
Recharged, we hit the road and admired Amritsar’s vibrant cityscape—colleges, railway station, hospitals, and more. Our next stop was the sacred Ram Tirth, believed to be the birthplace of Luv and Kush, sons of Lord Ram and Mata Sita. We explored:

A serene little lake that added to the temple’s charm

🇮🇳 Wagah Border: Patriotic Pulse
After a 26 km drive, we reached the iconic Wagah Border, also known as Attari Border. Though we missed the Army Memorial due to its Monday closure, the border’s energy was unforgettable.

🏰 Qila Gobindgarh: A Fort of Legends

🛍️ Evening Vibes: Market, Dinner & Golden Temple Finale
Back at the hotel, we freshened up and headed to the Golden Temple Market for some shopping. Dinner was a mix of comfort and indulgence:

We ended our day with a final, magical view of the Golden Temple and a fountain show that lit up the night.
