Afraid to speak English because you might make mistakes? This short story listening practice will help you build speaking confidence step by step. Listen to the story, follow the meaning, and practice natural phrases you can use in real conversations (great for A2–B1 learners).

Listen once (no pausing)
Listen again and repeat key sentences out loud
Shadow the speaker (copy rhythm + pronunciation)
Retell the story in 30–60 seconds to train fluency
