What is the minimum income to file income tax return (ITR) ?

If your income is less than 5 lacs, say even 1 lac, then also, I recommend you to file your ITR before 31st July 2023.

There are many benefits of it -

1️⃣ Any TDS which banks might have deducted when your FD is matured or even on Savings account, or your employer might have deducted any TDS from your salary, then that can only be refunded to you, when you file ITR.

2️⃣ 2 year ITR helps you get a credit card , which is a very good product to build your credit history.

3️⃣ Basis which you can also get 2 wheeler/4 wheeler loans or small personal loans as well.

4️⃣ Some Visa application also asks for 2/3 years ITR.
