Poi is a WORKOUT (I was shocked!)

Is poi spinning an effective workout? I was curious, so I wore a fitness tracker during a flow session to see what would happen and I was really surprised by the results! I went to spin for one hour as I worked to learn a new trick, engaged in free flow dancing, and worked on a poi dance piece that I've been finalizing for the past few months. The results really speak for themselves and make me really excited for anyone who is getting into poi even if they're a beginner and just figuring out their basic tricks and moves. Flow Arts will get your blood pumping!
